7th Annual Sports Power Brunch Celebrating Women’s Power in Sports
The 7th Annual Sports Power Brunch took place on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, at the Four Seasons Hotel San Francisco, celebrating an extraordinary group of women who continue to shape and elevate the sports industry. Honorees included Sports Emmy® Award–winning host and broadcaster Maria Taylor, NBC Sports; Marissa Solis, Senior Vice President of Global Brand and Consumer Marketing at the National Football League; Becky Hammon, Head Coach of the Las Vegas Aces; Kim Ng, Commissioner of the Athletes Unlimited Softball League (AUSL); Harpreet Basran, Chief People Officer of the San Francisco 49ers; and Amanda Chin, Senior Vice President of Marketing for the Golden State Warriors.
Hosted by Elle Duncan, Netflix’s Lead Sports Host, the event celebrated women who are breaking barriers and leading with vision, purpose, and power. The Purple Carpet was hosted by ESPN reporter, host, and basketball analyst Monica McNutt.

The program featured two compelling panel discussions. The Power Shift: Women’s Economic Impact on Sports, presented by Prime Video, was moderated by Danielle Smith, SVP of U.S. Strategy & Consulting at Wasserman. Panelists included Sarah Bishop, VP of Global Brand & Consumer Marketing at the NFL; Stacey Rosenson, Head of U.S. Sports Marketing at Prime Video; and Quinnie Jenkins, Director of U.S. Sponsorships at Delta Air Lines.
The second conversation, A Spotlight on ESPN’s Dedication to Amplifying Women’s Stories, presented by ESPN Films, was moderated by Marsha Cooke, Vice President and Executive Producer of ESPN Originals and 30 for 30. The panel featured Emmy® Award–winning director and producer Alexandria Stapleton.
Guest enjoyed onsite brand activations which included ESPN Films Power Club photobooth and the Fanatics Portrait Studio with famed visual artist and photographer, Dominique Oliveto.

The event donates partial proceeds to nonprofit organizations, such recipients have included The Power of Girls, Winning Edge Leadership Academy, American Cancer Society, A10tion Foundation, student stipends, Rising Media Stars, Inc., and the Sterling Legacy Fund. Since its inception, the Sports Power Brunch has donated over $100,000. In addition, the Sports Power Brunch in partnership with Prime Video donated a basketball court called Sterling Courts in memory of LaTonya Story’s late son to the Downtown Boys & Girls Club of Southern Nevada. The court was designed and installed by Sport Court of Nevada. Microsoft teamed up with the Sterling Legacy Fund to build and create the Sterling Legacy Fund + Microsoft Foundation Esports Lab. In 2025, in partnership with Prime Video, PUMA and Original Element Foundation, an indoor basketball court was renovated and named Sterling Courts at the Lyons Recreations Center in New Orleans which was designed and renovated by Sports Floors. Microsoft and Xbox teamed up to renovate the computer lab, teen center, and makers lab.
At the 7th Annual Sports Power Brunch in San Francisco, we had the pleasure to present a donation of $20,000 to the Oakland based nonprofit organization Technology Exposure & Access through Mentoring (TEAM Inc) on behalf of the Sterling Legacy Fund in memory of LaTonya Story’s late son Sterling who passed away from cancer.
The Sterling Legacy Fund is a fiscally sponsored program of Athletes Charitable a division of United Charitable, a registered 501(c)(3).
